Peggy Smedley and Bo Hou, senior lecturer, school of physics and astronomy, Cardiff University, talk about research in different areas including semiconductors. He says the university is working with next-generation semiconductors and he is interested in making them into small nano crystals, making technology more energy efficient and higher performance.
