Peggy and Jennifer Clark, professor and head of the city and regional planning section at The Knowlton School of Architecture in the College of Engineering, Ohio State University, talk about the need for more investment in cities, technology, infrastructure, governance, and innovation.

They also discuss:

• The need to build the best model for technology diffusion into the new ICT-enabled infrastructure environment, which involves a lot of stakeholders and a big conversation and it is not just about the technology.
• That cities often want to be the third or fourth to adopt something, not the first.
• If data is available for small firms to develop great services, then there will be a huge amount of innovation.
