Peggy and Charlie Culp, professor, Dept. of Architecture and associate director, Energy Systems Laboratory, Texas A&M University, discuss how he built a very efficient, experimental house with his wife that they are still living in. He says he wanted a house south facing because he wanted to harvest the sun in the winter and the daylight year-round.

They also discuss:

  • Other tips and tricks for making an existing home or a new build more energy efficient.
  • What he learned through the process of building four homes.
  • What everyone can do today to make their own home more energy efficient.
